“starting in 2020, i have been gripped with the desire to write or paint on any and all surfaces. notebooks, my computer, random cardboard scraps. if not for the deposit on my apartment, i would very much like to write all over the walls of my office, to be overtaken by the frantic gesture of writing. this book is an extension of that desire to write, and i would like to extend this desire to you.”
