Twelve-year-old Eliot Norman doesn't want to explore the abandoned airplane in the woods, he just wants his first crush, Jedidiah Cantor, to think he's cool. Lucky for him, Jedidiah not only thinks Eliot's cool, it appears he might like him back. Before Eliot can confirm whether his crush feels the same way, however, Jedidiah dies in a tragic accident.
