A new-age spiritual organization called the Church of Oscar is taking North America and the world by storm. Its ideology is simple: only by living in harmony with Nature and other species can humanity survive. Yet deeply hidden behind its benevolent façade, the church hides a diabolical secret. When Erwin Johnson, one of the Church leaders has a fall out with the council and leaves, a deadly cat-and-mouse game ensues. Erwin is all alone in his struggle to survive and expose his powerful opponent, and several close calls leave him physically and emotionally scarred for life.
