LOS ANGELES FIRES OF THE HEART is a series of poems chronicling the migration of an East Coast U.S. native, with deep attachments to Western Europe's green isles, to a life in the desert City of Angels. The poems are an assessment and integration of life's anguish and passion. They are about transcending the harshness, the riots, the earthquakes, the wildfires, the apathy blanketed by the urban sprawl. These writing, penned by the author over a decade of transition, document the private journey of finding balance, seeking sustenance within.
