While teasing his younger sister Fredrick fell into the land of Waitington, where magic is real. Those he meets believe he is magic as well-in fact, a long-awaited magician. Baffled by why he is there, and how to get home, Fredrick quickly finds out it is a crime to be a magician in Waitington. A crime punishable by death. On the run, Fredrick meets many magical friends while trying to stay alive long enough to somehow make it home.
