This book introduces a major document in neuropsychology, summarizing significant contributions to the field over nearly thirty years. It represents a monumental contribution, with no comparable work existing in Western literature, except for a French book on the cerebral cortex. The book marks a decisive step toward the coalescence of neurology and psychology, a goal pursued by only a few laboratories in recent decades. The first half deals with observations and interpretations concerning the major syndromes of the left cerebral hemisphere, including aphasia, agnosia, and apraxia, along with a detailed analysis of massive frontal-lobe involvement.
