Viac o knihe

Now a major motion picture, this special edition includes new emails between Simon and Blue, a behind-the-scenes scrapbook from the film set, and a conversation with authors Adam Silvera and Angie Thomas. Sixteen-year-old Simon Spier, who is not openly gay, prefers to keep his drama for the school musical. However, when an email falls into the wrong hands, his secret is at risk. Simon finds himself blackmailed by class clown Martin, who demands Simon play wingman, threatening to expose Simon's sexual identity. This also puts Blue, the boy he’s been emailing, in jeopardy. As messy dynamics arise within his close-knit group of friends and his correspondence with Blue becomes increasingly flirtatious, Simon's junior year grows complicated. He must navigate stepping out of his comfort zone without alienating his friends, compromising himself, or losing a chance at happiness with the adorable boy he has yet to meet. This book has won the William C. Morris Award for Best Young Adult Debut and is a National Book Award Longlist title. Don’t miss the author’s other works, including The Upside of Unrequited and Leah on the Offbeat!
