Alex Reeve was Operative 66. A special-ops soldier trained as a covert assassin in the UK's elite unit SC9, he was framed for treason and went on the run, hunted by his former comrades. Forced to abandon the woman he loves to protect her from merciless killers, Reeve now leads a solitary existence on the fringes of society. But when he realises the victims of an apparent serial killer are 'ghost targets' - decoys to camouflage the true intended victim - Reeve sees his chance to expose and destroy SC9. To regain his freedom, he must save the innocents SC9 has marked for death. But if there's one man who can do so... it is Operative 66.
