The 6:20 Man returns to tackle the murder of CIA agent Jenny Sikwell in a small coastal town in Maine, where national security is at stake. Her death raises alarms as her devices contain sensitive information that could endanger numerous operatives. The U.S. government turns to ex-Army Ranger Travis Devine, whose military training and analytical skills make him ideal for this high-stakes investigation. Having previously dismantled a major financial conspiracy, he views this case as relatively straightforward. However, small towns are rife with secrets, and Devine quickly finds himself an outsider once again. To solve the murder, he must navigate the tight-knit community of Potter, where trust runs deep and suspicion of outsiders is high. Key figures include Dak, Jenny’s brother, who aims to revitalize the town; Earl, the retired lobsterman who discovered Jenny’s body; and Alex, Jenny’s sister, who harbors her own dark secrets. As Devine engages with the locals, initial answers lead to more questions, revealing a complex web of hidden truths. With a long history of secrets and those willing to kill to protect them, Devine faces the challenge of discerning who he can trust—and who may want him dead.
