Grief drives Mars to uncover the truth about his sister Caroline's tragic death, leading him to the prestigious Aspen Conservancy Summer Academy, where he replaces her. As a genderfluid individual, Mars feels out of place amidst the academy's charming facade, which hides rigid gender roles and a toxic environment. He becomes entangled with Caroline's former friends, the mysterious Honeys, while unsettling memories and a sense of danger begin to surface.
