Reggie, a D&D Dungeon Master and self-proclaimed Blerd, leads quests and critiques the game under a pseudonym, concealing his passion from his disapproving family. Their paths first cross on New Year's Eve, then again on Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day, suggesting a cosmic force at work. Delilah admires Reggie's openness about his interests, wishing she could be more like him, unaware that he too is merely playing a role of confidence. As their holiday meetings progress, they begin to develop feelings for each other. However, they must confront the reality that they have fallen for versions of each other that may not be entirely genuine.
