Van Shaw, a recently discharged Ranger, is drawn into a perilous quest in the Olympic Mountains after an old acquaintance of his grandfather requests help. As he searches for a missing girl linked to his criminal history, he stumbles upon a gruesome murder scene involving a victim from a prominent Seattle family, complicating his mission and forcing him to confront his past.
