Podle mého názoru kniha patří k těm průměrnějším thrillerům. Jako vášnivá čtenářka Dívky ve vlaku od stejné autorky jsem od jejích dalších knih čekala trochu víc. U tohoto příběhu mi nesedla atmosféra, která mi přišla málo vykreslená. Celé se to točilo kolem minulosti, kerá postupně víc a víc zasahuje do současného života postav, až nakonec vyústí ve vraždu (Proto ten název). Jako nenáročné letní čtení ale poslouží dobře.

První půlka se táhne, ale pak se příběh rozjede.
