Unlike the grandiosity of classical epics, Cifar's journey is marked by humility and marginality, reflecting the struggles of a frustrated hero. The lake serves as a rich tapestry of Nicaraguan legends and history, symbolizing the dreams and disappointments of its people. Cuadra's narrative captures the essence of a bohemian spirit navigating both the sea and the complexities of life.
