The story unfolds in the aftermath of a devastating invasion by the Borche, who aim for extermination and slavery across the Andromeda Galaxy. As defeat looms, seven fleets are dispatched using experimental jump drive technology to seek refuge on habitable worlds. The First Andromedan Fleet, led by Admiral Karlou Vardourn, faces disaster during their final jump, leaving only the ISS Titania to reach the beautiful yet occupied planet Terrania. The crew must now confront the moral dilemma of negotiating for asylum or resorting to the same brutality they fled from.
