Set against a backdrop of ancient cosmic conflict, two powerful alien races, the benevolent Arisians and the malevolent Eddorians, vie for control over humanity's fate. The Arisians secretly guide human evolution to prepare for a future confrontation, while the Eddorians launch their own destructive campaign. Amidst this turmoil, the Triplanetary League and the enigmatic pirate-scientist Roger emerge, alongside the disruptive Nevians, whose arrival complicates the struggle for dominance in the universe.
