Oproti Tatéru z Osvětimi a Cilčině cestě je o něco slabší. Hlavní dějová linie odehrávající se v Osvětimi je v podstatě analogická k první knížce. Poslední čtvrtina – po tom, co utečou – už je celkem nudná, přestože důležitá. Vůbec se nedivím, že autorka ve svém dalším díle sáhla po příběhu z jiného kontinentu.
