Minier, podobně jako mnozí úspěšní autoři, výborně ovládá čtenářskou manipulaci. Nenápadně podsouvá domněnky a vytváří dojem, že už máte všechno rozklíčované. Jenže nemáte. Tempo drží pomocí úderných vět a krátkých pasáží, které nutí číst dál.
