The mill of Moara is powered not by wind, but by storytelling. So long as the villagers surrounding the mill tell one another stories, the mill continues to work. When the mill unexpectedly stops, storytellers from across the land flock to Moara to see if their tale can turn the mill’s wings once again. None are successful, until a little boy calls a flock of storks down from the sky and a strange new storyteller joins him by the fire . . . Inspired by Romanian folklore, Tales of the White Stork is a collection of stories that touch on themes of courage, humility, and compassion.
