In 1225, Saint Francis of Assisi wrote the Canticle of the Sun, a hymn of praise for all creation. Over the centuries, his reverent words celebrating the wonders of the world - from sun, moon and stars to fruit and flower, robin and thrush - have given inspiration to countless generations. This verse adaptation rekindles the reverence of St Francis's hymn in rhyming couplets.
