Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Swiss Alps, the story follows Heidi, a young girl who is sent to live with her grumpy grandfather after her aunt takes a job in Frankfurt. Initially resistant, the grandfather gradually bonds with Heidi, whose joyful spirit and curiosity transform their isolated life. As she embraces her new home and befriends Peter the goatherd, Heidi's happiness is threatened by unforeseen changes that challenge her newfound stability and relationships.
