Set on a small enchanted isle, the story unfolds around themes of revenge, sorcery, and reconciliation. Prospero, the exiled Duke of Milan, and his daughter Miranda are marooned, accompanied only by Caliban and the spirit Ariel. As Prospero hones his magical abilities, he conjures a storm to bring his enemies to the island. Their ensuing adventures involve illusions, tests of love, and acts of vengeance, ultimately revealing that love and forgiveness are the most powerful forms of magic.
