Set in the early 20th century, the narrative follows a young man drawn into an archaeologist's ambitious plan to resurrect Queen Tera, an Egyptian mummy. Summoned by Egyptologist Abel Trelawny at the behest of his daughter, Malcolm Ross witnesses the eerie effects of Egyptian artifacts. As Trelawny and his companions explore the potential of ancient Egyptian science, they inadvertently unleash a supernatural force when a storm disrupts their experiment, raising questions about faith and the power of ancient gods.
